It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!

And I've been in full swing creating the last few bears for 2007, and some decorations for the tree too!! What fun!! :O)

New Designs....

I've been having fun creating some new prims from some new patterns I designed. Mae and the little prim Guardian Angel (last two pics) will be making their debut on ebay this evening (Sun 7 October) Hope you like them... :O)

2 New Ones :O)

I've finished these sweeties this weekend. The darker one is still my prim design, but curiosity got the better of me when I wondered what it would be like to rip the eyes off the bear and fix him...patches became the answer, so i tied this in with primitive paw pads (not sewn like a normal bear but added to the top of the mohair with a whipstitch) and then sewed him a stitchery tag reading 'Primitive at Heart' - then 'Arty', the lighter of the two bears is 10" approx and has aged ultrasuede pads (proper ones!!) with a little aged cardi and mini buttons. Both will be on ebay this evening. ;O)

Two new BIG Prims

I just got these two sweeties finished today, they're a lot bigger than my previous prims at 18" each. Pinwheel Ned is created from two different coloured mohairs and Prim a Ballerina is created from a more dense light grey mohair. I hope you like them!! :O) They're on ebay from 1 August for 7 days....

I've been having fun making these little guys.....the one with fur is nuts about goodnight kisses, and the little baldy one is my curiosity getting the better of me and seeing what mohair looked like inside out - fun methinks!! :O) They're both on ebay from 29 July for 7 days. I've finally got round to completing some bears after having a very busy month puppy training and a very busy end of term for my two children who are both going to 'big school' in September!! :O)

A prim Chic Girl!

A little late this week, I have for your perusal a Shabby Chic style girl, 'Prim Chic' who is created from a delicious pale pink sparse mohair and I've accented her with a sweet collar and bow with a ribbon rose - ahhhhh!!! A Berry Prim Girly!!

This 13" approx prim girly is created from a lovely dusky pinky brown sparse mohair, so Berry prim she is!! I've trimmed her outfit with a gorgeous rich brown ribbon, and even coloured the tips of her cream ribbon rose to match!! She'll be on ebay for 7 days from 3 June. :O)

Amy - An Old Friend

I'd like to introduce you to Amy this week, one of my 'Old Friends' style bears. She is 16" and created from sparse old looking mohair and I've shaded and aged her to make her looked old and well loved. She is on ebay for 7 days starting from Sunday 27 May. :O)

Multi Coloured Prim Bears!

So I thought I'd experiment with colour for these two, lol!! The photo's seem to show them in some 'heavenly' light, for some reason, but, the small bear is 9" approx and has pale pink head and peachy coloured body and limbs. His friends has a biege head and rusty body and limbs - I think they're great fun, hope you like them!! They'll be on ebay this evening!! ;O)

Another Prim Gal...

Here I've created another Prim Gal, my first one sold before I listed her, she is off to a wonderful new home. :O) I've created this little girl with a sage greeny brown felted pile mohair and it looks wonderfully vintage and sets her off a treat!! I hope you like her!! ;O)

New Prim Bear

I'm delighted to bring you all another prim bear - I think I'm going to get addicted to these!! He's 13" from head to toe and I've had great fun making his 'paper' hat, which is actually tea stained cotton, once I had remembered how to fold one as I haven't made one since I was small!! I hope you like him!! His close up came out a bit dark as it was getting dark by the time I was ready to take photos today (where do the hours go....?) but it does show his colours and detail up so I thought I'd include them anyway. :O) Thanks for dropping by..... x

Hello!!

Well Hi!! And welcome to my new blog!! If you like Old Bears and prim things, we're going to get along just great!! I presently have Olde Bear on ebay, he's a smashing looking old fella and all a bit grungy!! Also keeping him company is 'Olde Friends' Raggedy Annie and Bear friends. I have plans for more prim bears and Annies so do please keep checking in!!
